Beyonce checked into Lenox Hill Hospital on NYC’s upper east side late Friday night (they supposedly rented the entire hospital floor for $1.3 Million!) and at 2AM this Sunday morning January 8, she has officially given birth to her and Jay-Z‘s daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Checked into the hospital under the name Ingrid Jackson, the couple went through large measures to ensure that the labor was a private affair. They covered up security cameras with tape, took away employees cell phones when entering the floor, and had security guards checking the perimeter. The color blue is Jay-Z’s favorite and the roman numeral supposedly has a special meaning to Beyonce, hence the name Ivy. The hip-hop royal has already gotten twitter love from Auntie Rihanna, Uncle Russel Simmons, and one social media savvy vixen who has already jumped the gun on taking over the Blue Ivy Carter twitter handle, feeding us funny quips and clever RT’s. Judging by the time at which we are posting this and the list of twitter topics at the moment (Aunty Gaga, Uncle Kanye, Godmother Nicki to name a few) we are sure to see a LOT of the new baby Blue Ivy. Congrats!

Apparently all the divas (mind you we use that ver termy loosely when we speak of this artist) are releasing their videos this week. First Beyonce, and now Rihanna just dropped her vid for We Found Love. As much as we judge her here we can’t help love dancing to her intoxicating pop hits. If you love domestic violence, drug use, sex, and just being reckless (all our our fave things) then you’ll love this video.

From a plumber’s apprentice to styling Britney Spears’s latest video, “I Wanna Go,” celebrity stylist David Thomas has had a long, sonically-inspired and inspiring journey, dressing some of the biggest pop stars over the last 20 years. Having dealt with fashion emergencies for the likes of Puff Daddy Diddy, Diddy Dirty Money Sean Combs, Boy George and Chris Brown, Thomas will display some of his most notable looks from the past six months in seven vignettes created in conjunction with British artist William Blanchard as part of his exhibit, “In Case of Fashion Emergency Break Glass.”

The True Religion Swimwear show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week looked great on Saturday. The Americana motifs were translated into swimwear in the form of horseshoe prints, denim styling and surf silhouettes. Western-style hardware like antique brass studs or rings gave a bit of equestrian influence. Corset tops and lacing added to this look.
Props included surf boards, guitars and cowboy hats. My favorite accessory were the long fringed vests paired with bikinis.
Donald J. Pliner of shoe design fame was sitting in the front row with his wife Lisa. Jasmine Sanders walked the runway, though missing boyfriend Chris Brown in the front. America’s Next Top Model contender Anchal Joseph looked summer elegant.

This is not what you think! The theme of Jean Paul Gaultier’s show was “warrior”, so he decided to give himself a fake beat down face and then pose with Chris Brown as a joke. I don’t find this funny!

I’m so confused as to why Chris Brown is still relevant. You’ve already done you’re part of reminding us that shitty boyfriends do exist even in Hollywood, so why must you rape our retina’s with you’re played out attempt at geekage?!? The geek is dead, time to “transform” your look and dress like you’ve got some sense.
