Christina Aguilera To Design Collection For Topshop

Sir Phillip Green, creator of the U.K.’s popular Topshop fashion house, is reportedly courting Christina Aguilera in hopes of convincing her to create a collection for his label.

According to Britain’s Daily Mail, Xtina’s proposed fashion line would be sold alongside that of supermodel Kate Moss, who design’s Topshop’s best-selling collection to date.

“Sir Philip has started talks with Christina and hopes to sign a deal soon. She has visited his offices in London and they are thrashing out the details,” says a source. “Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to Topshop. Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model.”

“She’d appeal to a younger shopper than Kate.”
