Dior Reveals Secret Tomorrow

Edited by

As if Dior hasn’t teased us enough in the past year, keeping us wondering for 13 months who’d fill John Galliano‘s Creative Directorial heels (thank you, Raf Simons), we’re now faced with another teaser. The newest Dior film, Secret Garden – Versailles, flashes Daria Strokous, Melissa Stasiuk and Xiao Wen Ju in Marie Antoinette’s playground, in slightly scandalous exposure. The full film drops tomorrow, and sticking with their newfound knack for keeping directors hush hush, we won’t know who directed this film until it launches on Dior.com, May 3rd, 2012.

- Called it. Leonard has confirmed the exit of Maxime Simoens. I knew I couldn’t trust that Simoens as far as I could throw him. Which would be pretty far, he seems rather willowy. Let the Dior speculation continue! [WWD, sub req'd]

Gareth Pugh‘s costumes for the Royal Opera House production of the ballet Carbon Life — which also features music by Mark Ronson — and it’s safe to say this is not your traditional tutu. Which is perhaps the only safe thing about this. [Telegraph]

Edited by

- Urban Outfitters insults yet another group of people and — uh oh…this time it’s the trannies. Expect casualties. [Huff Po]

- Justin Bieber gets the crap editorially beat out of him in the latest issue of Complex, quickly replacing this as my new fave Bieber spread. And it has nothing to do with seeing him getting his ass kicked…absolutely nothing at all. [Complex]

Alexander Wang’s Legal Woes Continue, J. Lo Covers Vogue and Derek Lam Leaves Tod’s

Edited by

- Another Alexander Wang employee has jumped on the legal bandwagon, suing the designer for being subjected to sweatshop labor conditions. And I supposed if everyone jumped out of a burning factory after working a 90-hour week they would do that too. [NY Post]

-  Noted…Brit dude Piers Morgan thinks Kate Moss is “a vile little creature,” it seems, because she kicks him every time she sees him. Some people are so sensitive. [Telegraph]
