Now that New York Fashion Week is over, it’s time to reflect, reevaluate and recuperate. My fellow editors and I dumped out the contents of our bags to document our Fashion Week experience, or at least what we remember that wasn’t wiped out by excessive drinking and turning.

The Parisian-Inspired heels from the Fall 2010 runway show are going to be in stores: ”Christian Siriano showcased his fall ‘10 collection with Payless at the Bryant Park Tents,” and the confirmed line for Payless features “various croc and python patent, oversize ruffles, and gold filigree detailing on platform pumps and boots.”

The much coveted Siriano for Payless shoes are finally available on their website. These are my fave, but according to Racked, they are ‘most uncomfortable and least sturdy.’

Payless ShoeSource unveiled its designer label, Christian Siriano for Payless, with the designer at his fall ’10 runway show at New York Fashion Week today. The shoes are designed to complement his Ready-To-Wear (RTW) and Siriano’s overall collection is inspired by 1960s Parisian women and their daily practice of getting dressed. His shoes pull strong inspirations from antique furniture from the 18th and 19th century with its filigree and clawfoot detailing. A focal design from the runway collection is the Rocaille style — a platform pump featuring a signature artisan heel reminiscent of a clawfoot. The collection is expected in Payless stores in September.
