Woke up drunk? Just keep riding that train till you can't remember what sober even feels like.

There's nothing I crave more on the morning after than some greasy, MSG-rich Chinese food to absorb the booze and distract me from how drunk I am by pointing out how fat I am. And General Tso has always been my favorite general.

Hydrate! Hydrate! Hydrate! If you do anything, keep yourself hydrated and replenish those sassy electrolytes.

For that splitting headache, pop a pill or two, but fair warning: aspirin can thin out your blood, ibuprofen can cause stomach bleeding and acetaminophen can cause damage to your liver -- and since alcohol does all of that anyway (and is a lot more fun) you might as well refer to tip #1.

A more natural method to ease a headache is tiger balm rubbed on the back of your neck and temples. Note, not to be confused with Charlie Sheen's tiger blood, which I'm assuming is rubbed somewhere further south.

As a preventative measure, eat at least before and maybe after you drink. Your odds of getting a hangover can be dramatically decreased, plus you'll have something in your stomach to throw up later.

If you're feeling exotic and/or ambitious in your hungover stupor, a bath infused with wasabi or mustard increases your blood circulation and detoxifies the drunk out of you.

Sure you may want to perk up after obliterating whatever brain cells you had left, but caffeine will only dehydrate you more and probably make you feel a little nauseous in the process.

A little B6, some B12 -- perhaps some B52's -- and Vitamin C do wonders.

A different kind of shot can help you avoid a hangover all together. A natural detoxifier, a glass of wheatgrass after drinking and then again when you wake up may taste awful but the ends definitely justify the means.

Correct me if  I’m wrong, but Christmas celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior, one Jesus Christ, by buying outrageously priced items, eating the balls off of some shrimp, and drinking until your family seems agreeable, no? So in the true spirit of Christmas, here are five delicious spirits to toast the holidays and numb the bitterness.

Recipes: Food Network

  Ingredients 2 shots Irish cream liqueur 1 shot brandy 1/2 shot cinnamon schnapps 1 teaspoon maple syrup Ice Cinnamon stick, for garnish Directions Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with cinnamon stick

    Ingredients Ice 1 1/2 oz. vodka 1/2 oz. DeKuyper Buttershots liqueur or butterscotch schnapps 1/4 oz. real maple syrup 1 oz. half-and-half Fresh-ground nutmeg Directions Pour liquid ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously. Strain into a martini glass and top with fresh-ground nutmeg.

    Ingredients One part chai tea concentrate One part whole milk 1 star anise 1 oz. cognac/brandy 1 oz. DeKuyper Buttershots liqueur or butterscotch schnapps 1/2 graham cracker, crushed and powdered Directions Bring chai tea concentrate and milk to a simmer over medium-low heat. Stir in star anise to flavor. Remove from heat. In a mug add brandy and butterscotch liqueur. Pour chai tea mixture into mug. Stir slightly and dust with crushed graham cracker.

    Ingredients 1 tbs. creamy peanut butter 1 tbs. chocolate syrup 1/2 oz. Kahlua or coffee liqueur 1/2 oz. dark rum 1/2 oz. vodka 1 oz. almond milk Ice Torched mini-marshmallows for garnish Directions In a pint glass, mix together the peanut butter and chocolate syrup. Stir in the Kahlua until well blended. Stir in the vodka and rum and then add the almond milk. Fill a martini shaker with ice and add mixture. Shake vigorously until very well chilled. Drizzle the insides of a martini glass with chocolate syrup. Strain cocktail into the martini glass. Put 3-4 mini-marshmallows onto a skewer and toast with a butane torch. Place over glass.

    Ingredients 1/4 cup vodka 1/4 cup Champagne 1/2 cup cranberry juice Crushed ice 2 strips orange zest, each about 1/4-inch wide and 2 inches long Directions Combine the vodka, Champagne and juice in a large-stemmed red wine glass. Add crushed ice and stir until the mixture is well chilled. Twist the orange strips over the glass, drop them in, and serve.

2. Eat breakfast and a light lunch.  DO NOT show up to dinner hungry. The longer you go without eating the hungrier you become thus the more you’ll want to scarf down. It’s never a good idea to eat a whole days worth of calories in one sitting.

3. The best exercises during the holidays are called “pushaways.” Push your plate back and step away from the table.

4. Having tea, ideally one that is herbal, at the end of a meal helps. It signals to the brain that the meal is complete. It also helps with digestion.

5. If you’re going to do leftovers, then focus on protein. Plate some turkey with salad or veggies.

Elbaz himself sits atop the tree, or rather an adorable facsimile. “The tree is to emanate and bring heartwarming joy to all who work and stay as guests at Claridge’s hotel,” the designer said. “It’s my way to wish them a very Merry Christmas.” This is Alber’s first time tackling tree trimming duty for the famous hotel —  John Galliano handled it for the past two years, but perhaps an alleged anti-Semite designing their Christmas tree wasn’t the right message Claridge’s wanted to send.

Wal-Mart is opening at 10 pm on Thanksgiving, but before then, the megachain will give shoppers the chance to sign up for a preview of its Black Friday catalogue. Right on its heels is Macy’s, which will open at midnight on Black Friday with hundreds of “doorbuster” sales. Sears decided to stay closed on Thanksgiving this year – “There was a sentiment from customers to keep Thanksgiving as a holiday,” (of all the concepts) according to a division vice president — but will offer scannable billboards around the country to encourage mobile shopping. Ignoring Sears and their observance of Turkey Day, Gap Inc. will open 1,000 stores this Thursday, 800 alone of which are Old Navys.

Despite the extended store hours and doorbustery promotions, the appeal of Black Friday is waning. “The ‘big day’ isn’t the ‘big day’ anymore,” David Bassuk, managing director and head of AlixPartners told WWD. “It’s been diluted with earlier and earlier hours and even Brown Thursdays. There’s still some allure to getting up early and hunting for bargains, but we’re starting to see more and more retailers who are telling the consumer, ‘Stay home and get your sleep. We’ll send you what you need so you can still get the best deal.’”

What’s more disturbing: the fact that retailers are so desperate to make Christmas dough they’ve created a Brown Thursday or the fact that they insist on calling it “Brown Thursdays?” And will you indulge in the shopping frenzy this Friday or will you be too busy fighting your way through a turkey coma? It all began over breakfast at his Grandmother’s house. Jean Claude Jitrois was at disturbed by the horrifically ugly tablecloth that lay before him. Unable to finish his petit dejeuner with such a view underneath his plate, he took the tablecloth and turned it upside down. It was one of those kinds that is plastic/vinyl on one side, but a stretch cotton fused to the back side…. AH HAH! He thought as he examined the cloth’s origins. He figured out he could make his own variety out of leather by taking a very thin slice of the softest part of the leather, and fusing it to an equally thin layer of stretch cotton. Et voila! Stretch leather. Brilliant!!

Brazilian-born installation artist Eli Sudbrack of Assume Vivid Astro Focus — working under the direction of Barneys creative director Dennis Freedman – developed the artwork for Gaga’s Workshop, which will be featured throughout the workshop, in display windows, on shopping bags and in packaging.

The workshop — open from mid-November through January 2 — will be a Gaga-inspired shopping environment featuring limited-edition gifts designed by the popstar and her wonder twin, Nicola Formichetti. Barneys.com will also carry these gifts — which include candies, toys, apparel, accessories, candles and cosmetics – through a special microsite with 25% of sales from the workshop being donated to a charity of Lady Gaga’s choosing.

“Holiday is about joy, sharing and inclusiveness, and to me, Gaga really represents all of that,” explains Mark Lee, chief executive officer of Barneys New York. Lee took his inspiration from Gaga’s recent takeover of New York landmarks — “from Carnegie Hall for the Rainforest Benefit to the Metropolitan Museum and the Today show at Rockefeller Center” — and, of course, Babs Streisand‘s first TV special featuring a performance in Bergdorf’s.

While Gaga is expected to show up to the unveiling of the workshop, Lee hopes that she’ll be so “blown away” she puts on a little show of her own right then and there. Ugh, imagine? It would be something of a miracle on Madison Avenue. Oh, I do believe in Lady Gaga! I do! I do! [WWD]

According to WWD, creative director Jo Black’s team of 14 designers crafted two looks, Hudson and Fairfax, both made of acetate, high-nickel and stainless steel, with oversize black frames. Hudson is intended to be a variation of the classic aviator shape, and Fairfax is inspired by a cat-eye silhouette.

The sunglasses collection is slated to release this November priced from $155 to $265, there will also be a limited edition version of the Fairfax (pictured above) with 24 karat-gold-coated lenses, will retail for $425 at select doors. The collection will be available at stores including Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Harvey Nichols. Word around the street is that their Spring 2011 collection will be topping this one!

Kim K visited a local hospital yesterday to pass out hundreds of toys to sick kids. K-Dash’s stock continues to soar. Her new Boutique in SoHo has seen mad success, and now she caps it off with a nice Holiday gesture.

Kim sent a sweet Tweet on her way to the hospital: “Heading to the LA Children’s Hospital to give out toys! Thank u Hobby Tron for the amazing donation! 500 toys! Wow.”

It’s about time. Women have been ‘stealing’ from mens closet since ‘fashion prehistoric’ times so it is only fair that men starts borrowing some back.

Chunky jewellery has seldom been the forte of even the most stylish men. Modern male styles are often more understated and usually a ring or watch is as good as it gets before you become a Christmas tree. But Lanvin challenges that notion and makes a definitive statement for Spring Summer 2011. Sent down the runway are over sized and outstanding jewellery (necklace, chokers and rings) which looked severe and tribal. These huge male embellishments reinforces a certain warrior spirit that exemplifies masculinity and power. In a good way, the new Lanvin men has officially been aligned closer to the women’s collection where jewellery has been the focal point for the past 2 seasons.

Check out that huge metal choker (almost looking like a piece of armor). Definitive and strong. I will wear that in a heartbeat and I foresee all these male jewellery being in hot pursuit next year.

Ok, so it's more than obvious that these guys are attending an 'ugly Christmas sweater party,' but I see far too many people seriously wearing these hideous sweaters in public. Look through your closet. If there is anything red or green with jingle bells or snowflakes attached, find the nearest fireplace and burn that shit.

Impostor! You're not Santa Claus, nor should you be wearing his hat. It's similar to carrying around a fake Louis Vuitton bag...you look like an idiot. Don't come crying to me when people start backing away slowly.

Come on kid, where's the nerve! Take off those tacky antlers and smack your mother across the face with them. Oh, and the face paint has got to go too. I didn't know reindeer could blush.

This woman(?) must have earlobes of steel, because I've never seen anyone sustain that kind of weight before! At first I was shocked anyone would pick such a gawdy accessory, but the I realized the fashion senseless woman is also wearing a khaki zip up and sporting an awful haircut. If anything, the Christmas earrings distract away from the surrounding ugly.

Santa's helper? No, more like Santa's booty call. Sorry ladies, this isn't cute. You look like a slut.

I have no words.

If you just realized that you own any or all of the above Christmas no-no’s, there is an easy solution. Wear a black cocktail dress. Yes, it is as simple as that. If you’ve got nothing to wear, keep it simple and classy. Matching Grandma Bootsie at Christmas dinner is not the mark you should aim for.
