Tanning Beds, Now A Class 1 Carcinogen

If any of you are still heading to the tanning bed, there’s reason to give you a strong warning. Yes I know, we all have known for a while now that the UV rays weren’t exactly good for your health, but recently the beds have been classified as a class 1 carcinogen; putting them in the same group as tobacco smoke, mustard gas, and plutonium. In fact, if you hit the tanning salons for some extra color before the age of 30, you have a 75% higher chance of getting melanoma. That’s a big percentage!
