Move over blinding brights and statement necklaces, Club Monaco wants to channel your basic instinct. Long dresses and skirts bring ballerinas and the 1970s to mind while sheer silk shirts paired with delicately pleated skirts set an ethereal mood. Peach, burnt sienna and cornflower blue make appearances among light brown, beige and white. The omnipresent metallic trend is incorporated into soft knits and light, airy chiffons. Delicate jewelry not likely to go out of style shares the same subtle color palette. For anyone looking to fill her closet with foundational pieces for summer and fall, the search ends here.

Not only did Club Monaco just launch its awesome blog CM Culture Club, they also want fans to take pictures of what inspires them with one of their 2500 branded cameras to be handed out in NYC.

Club Monaco may be a little late to the social media party, but they are quickly making friends and influencing people. For their latest campaign they enlisted the help of style bloggette, Garance Dore who shot some of her friends in the Club’s Fall Must haves. Here is their exclusive interview with the lens-crafter.
