Havent Had Cosmetic Surgery? Get Out!

Recently there’s been a new change in sentiment about the whole cosmetic surgery thing. There’s always been those people that swore by it, and even more that did it and lied, but now it’s this growing cultural phenomenon that just keeps on going. How can we tell? There’s a beauty pageant  in Hungary only for people who have had a major cosmetic surgery done. Yes, I said only for those who have had cosmetic surgery. And by major I mean having had at least local anesthesia, if not general!

I get why people have cosmetic surgery done, and I guess the whole pageant is just another way of gaining something off of the surgeries that won’t really stop anyway. But there’s something that seems a bit odd and a little creepy about the whole thing!

Careful, Taxes On All Cosmetic Surgeries

If you were ever thinking of getting some botox, now there’s yet another reason to reconsider. Reportedly to make up for the immense health care issues, some folks over at the Senate Finance Committee were considering adding a 10 percent surtax onto cosmetic surgeries and procedures. Though they think it may be a great solution, the tax isn’t expected to follow through.
