“Motha” Martha Stewart Did This For Halloween

So…this is happening. People all around us have already been planning their Halloween outfits, and what better reference than the queen of crafts herself, Martha, or as she says, “Motha” Stewart. As the cover girl of her Halloween issue, she’s sports moth like lashes, a platinum bob, and a faux fur capelet. And if you didn’t the get joke from the lashes, she’s also showcasing a monster sized moth ring propping up her perfectly plastic chin. Enjoy.

A salute to yesterday’s NYC road warriors… via 20 AWESOME COSTUMES!!

I am so proud of everyone who ran yesterday!! HERE and HERE are 20 hilarious costumes from yesterday in your honor.

For those interested in marathoning, here’s the thing…

I ran my first marathon this year, and I learned something. There is simply NO FRAME OF REFERENCE for running 26.2 miles at once. (The first guy who ran one died if you remember from history – that whole Battle of Marathon thing.) You know, like in a way, 14 miles sounds the same as 20. But I assure you. They are very different.

As a side, it reminds me of when I was nine years old and I asked my mom what childbirth was like. Mom stared upward for a long 10 seconds, looked down at me with a face I’ve never seen since, and said – “It’s like death.”

No frame of reference. Congrats!!!

Halloween has passed, but costume season doesn’t have to end. Tear a page from the Gaga handbook – is there a deeper meaning??

I’m a fan of the Gaga spirit. In fact, it’s part of my daily routine. I wake up in the morning, stumble into coffee beans, shower, then stand towel-wrapped in front of my closet. What to wear today?

I shuffle through lines of suits, thumb through collared shirts, and THEN. On occasion. I snatch my astronaut’s uniform. It’s just me typing on my laptop at home. (Perks of being a writer.) Why not in an astronaut suit!?

This is the deeper lesson of Gaga-ness. Life is too short. You’ll never make it out alive. LET’S ENJOY!!!

Lady Gaga dispelled some words of wisdom to fans at a recent concert in Los Angeles and comments on one of her fans amazing costumes. The quote and the costume after the jump.

The Self-Made Costume made of over 3,000 pieces and took over $400 and roughly 40 hours to create.Talk about dedication.

You’ve got to admit that Gaga has some of the most devoted fans in the game.
