Next Year We’re Crashing Heidi Klum’s Halloween Party

Last night was Halloween and instead of spending it in bed eating candy I should have been dancing it up at Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween party.

The crazy part of it all is that the Fashion Indie/Lookbooks team were partying it up at LAVO (same venue as Klum’s party) on Friday night. I think the closest I came to being there was following awesome designer Kerin Rose on Twitter. Guests included Kim Kardashian, Rebecca Minkoff, and Christian Siriano.

Now I promise this to myself and the whole damn internet that if I am not invited to this party next year that I am crashing the shit out of it!

Top 5 Sexy Costumes For Halloween

So Halloween is coming fast upon us. Don’t have an idea what “sexy” being to be? Stop fretting because Fashion Indie has you covered.

I know a lot of my friends still don’t have their costumes even though parties start tomorrow! Here are a few of my favorite costumes for the ladies.

1. Sexy Devil- It says you’re “hot”without saying it.

2. Sexy Armed Forces- Let’s just say every guy will be “at attention” if you are wearing this.

3. Sexy Cowgirl- No one messes with a girl who has her guns out.

4. Sexy Goal Keeper- This costume says you’re not afraid to take a few balls to the face.

5. Sexy Geisha- This girl will love long time and can’t refuse a happy ending.

A few weeks ago we posted the sketches of Madonna’s costumes for her upcoming Sticky and Sweet tour. For her latest tour Madonna’s pulling out all the fashion stops. Here’s she is wearing a Moschino tracksuit at a rehearsal performance. Just added photos of Madge wearing what I think are her Givenchy designed costume. Can’t wait to see all the costumes!

Movies of Style: The Watchmen

Here at Fashion Indie, we are kind of like a family. We’re more like the Osbourne than the Brady Bunch, but we make it work. Well on Thursday night Daniel, Rebecca and I all went out to see The Dark Knight together. Before the 12:30 showing started we saw about a half and hour of trailers. Most of them were ‘meh’ but there was one that caught my eye. Zach Synder’s follow-up to 300 called The Watchmen. It’s supposed to be the greatest graphic novel of all time blah, blah blah-it is beautiful and has awesome costumes. That’s all you need to know.
