Here is Cyndie Lauper on the cover of her album Time After Time. I’m sure at the time she thought a baby-blue velvet skirt, one mesh fingerless glove, and contour blush was a good idea.

Taking a look at these photo I uncovered from the 1980′s, it’s not hard to see how there got to be a hole in the ozone by the early 90′s. Wow, there’s a whole lot of ugly going on. It looks like everyone of these ladies got stuck in front of a wind tunnel. How could anyone think this was a good idea? Oh well just another Crimes of Fashion Past!

First victims: Halle Berry and Danny Wood

Who knew that Halle Berry (pre-fame) dated NKOTB member Danny Wood (at the apex-of-his-fame)

Notice the rat-tail on Danny! And the Ace Ventura outfit. And Halle with the mushroom-bowl-cut….those sleeves are painful!
