It’s not easy being Hailee Steinfeld. Sure, being prematurely gorgeous and precociously talented, earning an Oscar nomination while barely in high school, having designers clamor to dress you for the red carpet and place you in their ad campaigns seems like a dream. And for all intents and purposes it is. But leave it to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority to rain all over the young actress’ somnambulant parade.

What is the world coming to when a doe-eyed ingenue can’t have a giant bottle in the shape of a flower resting suggestively between her jailbait thighs? Le sigh. The UK’s Advertising Standards Authority has banned ads for Marc Jacobs‘ new fragrance “Oh Lola!” starring one Ms. Dakota Fanning for being “sexually provocative.”

-Formerly esteemed photog Annie Leibovitz is now shooting Sears catalogs. And what’s worse, the stars of these Sears catalogs are those blights on the landscape of pop culture, the sisters Kardashian. Leibovitz shot them for Kardashian Kollection, their new line of clothing with the mass retailer and apparently she didn’t give two shits about it. Note how Khloe Kardashian is downsized a good half-a-foot to fit into the pic. [Jezebel]
