Following in Jeremy Scott’s and Kazuki’s footsteps is David Beckham with his very own Adidas Originals by Originals collection. The upcoming fall collection was created with the help of James Bond, the owner of the Undefeated sneaker-freak boutiques.

Their design approach was to update classic American sportswear with fashionable silhouettes and details. The apparel range features materials such as leather, cashmere and silk, while the footwear builds on iconic Adidas styles. The duo also developed accessories and thermal layering pieces.

But don’t get too excited, David has no plans of making appearances to promote the line. BOO!

On Tuesday David and Victoria Beckham went to a Fendi party during Milan Menswear Fashion Week. Posh wore her own design, while David dreamied it up in a shiny gray suit. All their colors go well together, and I think a gray suit is always a great way for men to stand out in a formal setting.

BUT. If it’s one thing I hate, it’s the superfluous scarf. I don’t know how cold it is in Milan right now, but Davey, you’re wearing more than your lady, and you have considerably more muscle mass to keep you warm. I’m assuming your body temperature is functioning properly. It looks like your face is in the process of getting cocooned or mummified. Or your head is being held on with a huge gray bandage.

Take it off!

Asked how she maintains her knickers-ready figure and Victoria will admit she is “very disciplined.” She’s not going to pretend she ate a burger before a red-carpet event, because she didn’t. She makes an effort. “It’s funny; I go to the gym now,” she says. “I run four miles a day.” Before events, “I go into hair and makeup, and I turn into ‘Victoria Beckham.’ I’ll try on all my dresses, and I’ll pick out a handbag, and I’ll put on the shades. I instantly turn into this person, and it sort of feels like a character. And there are so many pictures of it.” Interesting choice of words, it. She shrugs. “But it’s a true character because it’s still me.”

Victoria does let herself go occasionally, but in a very VB way. “I run around the house in a tracksuit sometimes!” she protests. What sort of tracksuit? “A fabulous one.” When out and about, she always pulls a look together. “If I go to the supermarket looking like shit, that affects my work. I am selling an image. Plus, I have fun with it.”

First we had David Beckham and his fish sticks. Next came Ivanka Trump and her promotion for inexpensive prepackaged lunches. Now we have none other than Katy Perry and Denny’s teaming up for some “Hot N Cold” action! Perry started off by helping Denny’s host Warped Tour after parties, and now the pop star has landed herself not in a tabloid or on a commercial, but in a menu! This week, Perry’s signature beverage, “The Hot N Cold Cherry Chocolate Cappuccino,” will hit menus as part of the 10pm-5am Rockstar Menu. It might be cheesy to name a drink after your newest hit single, but with french vanilla cappuccino, whipped cream, cherries, hot fudge and vanilla ice cream, the thing will probably have you singing “I drank the whole thing, and I liked it. The taste of the cherries and chocolate!” Okay, I’ll stop.

So, who’s next? Tyra for Tyson chicken? Paris Hilton for Happy Meals?

I don’t know who came up with this idea, but what the hell. I feel like I’m wasting my money when I buy some stupid designer hair product, but I am not dumb enough to buy this crap. If I cared that much about what olive oil I was using I would go to the grocery store and buy the best one they had. This is like going to Compton to figure out who the next big country music sensation is. Unless there is some new cool cosmetic use for olive oil that would cause A.P.C to do this I am deeming this the dumbest collaboration (?) ever. Combine this with David Beckham’s fish sticks, and Ivanka Trumps new microwavable meals and you have the most fashionably pathetic heart attack.

*Please note, this is in no way related to the fact that I hate food. I was recently accused of being anorexic by a reader, and I want to clear it up that due to the economic climate I can’t afford food so LAY OFF!
