If you payed attention to the latest fall, spring and resort 2011 shows, you know patterns are making a comeback in a big way. Not one to lean towards minimalistic trends, I’m obviously ecstatic about the re-emergence of loud, in-your-face prints. Of all the designs to come down the runway, polka dots are my favorite. Ultra-classic and exceptionally versatile, polka dots can go from punk-rock to sweet 50s housewife to sexy pin-up girl with a quick cut and color change. How will you wear this hot pattern from spring to summer and all the way into next year? Check out our gallery for tons of great ideas.

Zigzags were obviously an inspiration for David Koma’s Fall 2010 collection. Every season he seems to take inspiration from one particular shape (his last collections was centered around the ‘S’ shape), and I love his interpretation of the zigzag.

David Koma took the fashion world by storm with his S/S10 collection, with an introduction of bold bright colours and bold glass embellishment. We can’t wait to see what Koma will choose as his next hardware motif.
