Delfina Delettrez Designs Jewelry, Aka Toys for Adults

Delfina Delettrez is no stranger of fashion. As the daughter of Silvia Venturini Fendi, she grew up in a world of design, glamour and creativity. For the August 2011 issue of Harper’s Bazaar, she opened the doors of her chic Paris home and shared her style secrets with all.

Giuseppe Zanotti is doing a collaboration with jewelery designer/Fendi heiress Delfina Delettrez on some seriously fabulous shoes for fall 2010. Says Delettrez, “I have always loved Giuseppe’s shoes and it is wonderful to appear alongside this great master; a truly modern reference for fashion ‘Made in Italy’ in the eyes of those who, like me, appreciate and reward craftsmanship of the highest quality that translates as pure and desirable Luxury”. Luxury with a capital L indeed. The shoes should be available at LuisaViaRoma.com, to quote them, ‘very soon’!

LUISAVIAROMA FA10

In response to the Margiela heels in my last post, William (damn you again!!) tipped me off to these FA10 Margiela boots at Luisaviaroma which apparently have a metal horse shoe heel. I love horses and I love Margiela, well how about that? Of course I couldn’t close the screen without doing my seasonal oogling of Luisaviaroma’s other new offerings either.

Not that I can afford any of these, but you bet your ass I can oogle with the best of them. More importantly, I’m a mean stalker and can hunt down a good bargain. Maybe some of these will last through the next round of sales? I’m not much of an impulse buyer anyway, so if I still want something in 6 months or a year and somehow I miraculously find it, then it’s meant to be! Otherwise, there will always be another season to torture me.

*for some reason I’ve been obsessing over the idea of red tights with red shoes these days.
