While the Alexander Wang woman is a sex-crazed risk-taker the Wang man is a bad boy — a delinquent — on which the Wang gal secretly crushes. For his first full-blown mens line — after his award-winning capsule collection in the fall — the designer was inspired by bad boys like Diplo, Wiz Khalifa and Johnny Depp – “But not Pirates of the Caribbean Johnny Depp. Nineties Johnny Depp.” What, the guy from those 12,000 Disney movies isn’t as badass as Edward Scissorhands?
