RiRi acknowledged her pot proclivity when she tweeted*, ”Kush rolled, glass full…I prefer the better things!” quoting Drake‘s opening lines from “Up All Night.” Her fans are also a bunch of stoners, it seems, as many responded quite positively with tweets along the lines of ” I wanna smoke a blunt wit @rihanna”, “lol she is so high ! love that girl” and “Island gal for real!!!!”

Being from the Barbados, Rihanna probably started  ingesting high levels of THC through her mother’s breast milk so it comes as no surprise that she likes to toke up, particularly on vacation. And it’s not like we have to worry about the smoke negatively impacting her voice since she can “oh-na-na” on — or at least near – key without really trying.

*Sidebar: Can we talk about how earlier that day Rihanna urged oher Twitter followers to “show some love” for Martin Luther King Jr. and then demonstrated said love by quoting Lil Kim lyrics? Rihanna is nothing if not a study in extremes. Extreme what, however, I’m not sure…

And while Jaden Smith made the cut, his hair-whipping, fireball-throwing sister, Willow, is nowhere to be seen. Other notable exclusions include Glee‘s leading ladies Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, as well as tween fashionistas Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld. Guess they weren’t being disruptive enough.

Nicki Minaj‘s latest single from her platinum Pink Friday, the mid-tempo jam “Moment 4 Life” features Nicki as Cinderella and rumored beau Drake as Nicki’s Prince Charming.  Nicki is a variety of looks, from fairy godmother to some couture-esque creation with a lot of bustle and a lot of cleavage. And like all fairy tales, they both live happily ever after, wedding and all.

Robyn’s video for “Bad Gal,” a bonus track from her Body Talk Pt. 2 EP, is a more subdued affair. The clip was filmed in the south of France and features adorable producers Savage Skulls and Douster of Diplo‘s Mad Decent label. The video sees Robyn gyrating in a body conscious dress and cut-out jean jacket while Skulls and Douster randomly gallivant about the French countryside.

“Right after the clock struck midnight, Drake left his party at the W South Beach and dashed over to Nicki’s Moët & Chandon-sponsored bash at Mansion.”

They proceeded to dance and cuddle til 4 a.m. and were even spotted leaving together. Aww, cute!

Meanwhile, imagine what that wedding would be like; Lil Wayne officiating, Kanye as best man and a pink taffeta wedding gown that comes right below Nicki’s little Minaj.

If you’re at all like me (read: drunk), then you’re probably wondering “Where in gay hell is Robyn?” Well, luckily (or not depending on your view of winning a Grammy) our pop maven from Sweden is nominated for Best Dance Recording for “Dancing On My Own,” i.e. “The Best Song of 2010.”

The Grammys really don’t reflect what’s going on in music today therefore they don’t matter. Hell, I can’t remember the last time then was the Grammys did matter?

Oh, that’s right:

and obviously you know we’re kidding, although it isn’t Michael Cera…out of all the people on the  LIST they cho0se this guy? RYAN REYNOLDS.. um no, he doesn’t even fall under my mildly attractive list… and can’t even pull off the hot seductive look… gross, that’s all.

Do you hear the buzz building? Just weeks after dropping his first album, The Push, Shane Eli, the producer behind Diggy Simmons’ first single, is already commanding attention. Critics are raving over the album, which he wrote, recorded and produced entirely by himself out of his L.A apartment. Along with compliments are coming comparisons to another entrepreneurial rapper: Drake. At first glance it might seem like they look and sound the same, but for his first Swarm column, Eli digs a little deeper to show us that while both are talented, he offers something different.

I was born in Ottowa, Canada, and then I was out. My parents divorced soon after I was born and my mom raised me by herself. We had a lot of ties in the Bahamas, so we bounced back there. Then she got into a masters program in L.A, which is where I eventually grew up. She was doing it all. More than anything though, she developed a serious love of music in me. We had a wide range of influences in the house, from old-school vinyl records to more contemporary music. It inspired me to take my sound into a bunch of different directions.

I loved it music, but in the beginning I thought I might be a pro-athlete. I played sports my whole life, so it wasn’t until early college that I really started to fall in love with music. I recognized how it can take you the furthest and fastest emotionally. You can be in  a bad mood and be in a good mood again. It transforms you. At the same time I saw friends who played at school and didn’t make it into a pro-team just fall apart. They had nothing. I thought music would be a better outlet for me. It seemed like something you could create your whole life.
