So THIS IS A SHAKEDOWN! played an amazing festival in Dewey Beach, Delaware over the weekend. There were a thousand bands that played, 90% of which were amazing. But there was only one that stuck out to me. They are called Dynasty Electric and are from NYC.
They are a 2 piece Psychedelic/ electro/ nu disco band. The singer is super sexy as well, think Karen O with a disco twist. The image of the band sticks out to me as well. The singer, Jenny Electric, has crazy style. If this band gets big, which I believe will happen, she will be a fashion icon for sure. And the music rules! Check them out. They will blow your mind if you are in to the whole electro dance band revival. You know I am.

I saw Dynasty Electric at Crash Mansion on the Lower East Side last night, and singer Jenn DeVeau had more to offer than her seriously sick dance moves and Blondie-like voice, this girl has style. She’s a true rocker, and her clothes seem out of this world (literally). Last night she wore this sequined getup with fairy dust covered leggings, complete with glow in the dark rings on each hand. Although guitarist/saxophonist Seth Misterka remained in the background for the most part, he’s got an interesting look about himself too (I mean, check out that jacket in the photo above). I highly recommend checking these guys out soon, for good music and killer fashion.
