Origins rocked Earth Month last night as Grammy winners Train headlined a lineup of whopping new talent: singer/songwriter Nikki Jean and English band Treetop Flyers. And they were all talking about the environment.Origins is greening the world with all natural, completely vegan beauty products. They’re planting trees, recycling tons and leading the industry by example. And they’re rocking out while they do it.

Price of admission: One Earth Pledge.

Luxury Goes From Runway to Green with NET-A-PORTER

Green fashion just got a whole lot chicer this month. Luxury retailer NET-A-PORTER has teamed with more than 25 designers as the launch partner for Runway to Green’s initiative to mobilize the fashion community to raise funding and awareness for Alliance for Climate Protection, the Natural Resources Defense Council and the United Nations Environment Programme’s Billion Tree Campaign. In order to qualify for inclusion in the Runway to Green program, participating designers made a commitment to investigate how they can integrate the sustainable manufacturing practices put forward in the Clean by Design initiative from the NRDC.
