Eco-Chic with Macy’s Window’s

Working with a publicist who really has a mission to push the challenges of designing in a more organic way is really interesting. I’m not giving myself complete credit just yet for accomplishing anything on this end of fashion. However all the ideas are stirring up inside that creative little head of mine…

Visit me for more pics at Angel Lust and stay tuned for footage tonight of the Eco friendly Fashion Show.

Leave it to the Ford models to drop some tips on us about organic, travel-sized beauty products.  Really, is this what Ford models do when they’re not on the runway, chill out in pools and hawk beauty goods?

Designer: Ananas emerging fashion

After four years in Tokyo, designer Jennifer Baum Lagdameo found herself living in the Philippines, where she was inspired by the local traditional textile techniques and the indigenous materials.

Designer: Ananas emerging fashion

Ananas started from a small collection of abaca (eco friendly natural fiber) handbags and developed into a retro-chic collection of both leather and abaca that maintains the natural vibe by utilizing organic materials from the Philippines such as coconut shells, mother-of-pearl shells and polished native woods. As Ananas continues to evolve, Lagdameo is continuously experimenting and designing with new textiles and materials creating unique products unlike anything else on the market. Ananas handbags are all handmade in New York City. For each bag sold, a tree is planted by “Trees for the Future”
