The Green Shows showcases talented new designers with eco and socially responsible work ethics during Fashion Week, and is celebrating Earth Day this week with guilt-free shopping. They’re hosting the Spring Ecolux Designer Showcase, a pop-up shop in Bloomingdale’s SoHo. It’s all happening this week – ten designers to meet and shop with, plus a window takeover! Wednesday 4/20 through Saturday 4/23. Check out all the designers here before you go there to meet them.

As the inaugural recipient of the Ecco Domani Sustainable Design Award for 2009, BODKIN is an ongoing exploration of sustainability in methods and materials. Designer, Eviana Hartman, creates wearable sustainable clothing essentials for this Fall 2009 collection.

The A/W 09 collection will be available starting August 2009 at fine retailers like Steven Alan.
