On May 7, Amazon.com/Fashion, Vogue.com and metmuseum.org/metgala will live stream the red carpet arrivals hosted by model Elettra Wiedemann and Vogue‘s William Norwich from 6:30 to 8:30 (EST).

Expect  interviews with the Gala’s co-chairs Carey Mulligan, Miuccia Prada and Anna Wintour as well as various celebrities as they saunter into the Museum’s newest exhibit, Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations.

You can even get in on the action by tweeting questions to Wiedemann and Norwich using #metquestions and you can even spy on the guests as they get ready for the Gala through Facebook.com/celebs.

Ferragamo‘s first social media campaign, the W list, is launching online today. This is an exciting new project from Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti, surrounding the iconic W bag. The site will serve as a chic destination for sharing inspirational stories, locales, and ideas resulting in a one-of-a-kind W bag inspired by the winner.

Prior to launch, Giornetti invited Ferragamo girls and fashion insiders such as Selita E. Banks, Fabiola Beracasa, Elettra Wiedemann, Shell Cardon, Poppy De Villeneuve, Genevieve Jones, Irina Lazareanu, Louise Roe, Lydia Fenet, and Kelsey Chow to share their inspirational stories.

Runners up will be the first to receive the Spring/Summer 2011 limited edition W bag along with one user, at random, whose story personally inspires Giornetti. The winners will be announced on January 22nd, commencing a 60 day program.

G-Star Raw announced the newest face of their Fall 2009 Advertising Campaign, international model and actress, Elettra Wiedemann. Elettra will represent the global brand in print advertisements through the end of December.

Elettra Wiedemann may be the daughter of Isabella Rossellini, BFF of Chris Benz, and a biomedical engineering student who has also recently founded JustOneFrickinDay.com, an organization that (among other projects) is raising funds to build the first solar-powered hospital in Kigutu, Burundi. Co-founded by James Marshall, the Burundi Solar Project has enlisted Chris Benz, House of Diehl, Rogan, Rag & Bone, 3.1 Phillip Lim, and Giambattista Valli to each create an energy-inspired, limited edition t-shirt to be sold at JustOneFrickinDay.com.

The t-shirts, all made from 100% organic cotton, are available in men’s and women’s one size fits all and will sell for $60 each.  There are only 100 available in each style, and each is numbered.  A simpler style by House of Diehl, which served as creative consultants for the project, is also available for $30.
