Ash To Add More Ink?

Ash To Add More Ink? all indieI often find myself Googling and lurking on photos of male models. Somewhat creepy, I know, but you’ll have to excuse me while I fill the void of stunningly gorgeous men in my life (just because NYU is rated the most fashionable university doesn’t mean it’s the most attractive…) While creepin’ on the ever-handsome  Ash Stymest, I came across a few videos in which Ash and his look-a-like girlfriend, Eliza Cummins, talk about Ash’s tattoos. Besides sharing the story about how his “dyslexic as fuck” friend spelled something wrong on his arm, Ash talks about his plan to cover his entire body with tattoos, including his neck and face. NO ASH, NOT THE FACE!!

Yes, the punky, inked boy is all the rage in the modeling industry at the moment, but I find it really hard to believe that anyone completely covered with tattoos could make it as a model. The more ink you add, the more distracting the tattoos will be, taking focus away from the fashion. Models are like a canvas for clothing and I doubt there are many designers who will want to compete with an already painted-on canvas.

SPREAD UM: Ash Stymest & Eliza Cummins for Dazed & Confused mens fashion magazines

Real-life couple Ash Stymest and Eliza Cummins are the cover babes for the March 2009 issue of Dazed & Confused.

Shot by Mariano Vivanco and styled by Nicola Formichetti, the goth-punk, androgynous shoot is already freaking people out — Ash is only 17, and Eliza shows nipple! Heavens!
