Cannes Red Carpet Trend: Seeing Scarlet

Cannes Film Festival came to a close during Memorial Day weekend, and we were quite impressed with most of the red carpet looks from our favorite celebrities and their stylists. Black and bling were certainly prevalent red carpet choices for the occasion, but we were pleasantly surprised at how many ladies were seeing red during the fest. Whether from nose to toes or just with a splash of detail, red on the red carpet was hot, hot, hot at Cannes 2012. See the gallery after the jump.

We are well into the fifth day of Cannes Film Festival 2012, and the red carpet is alive with celebrities in couture. So far, we’ve seen the black ball gown make numerous appearances at premieres and parties, an elegant choice for the French festival.
