The label’s Fall 2010 menswear collection saw fuzzy-sleeved suit coats, baggy drawstring trousers, frayed edges a a bunch of incorporated knitwear. I’m excited what Costume National has in store for us women this season!

RUNWAY: Costume National Fall 2010 Menswear Collection Turtlenecks are back and Ennio Capasa says so. The Costume National Fall 2010 menswear collection was undoubtedly trendy: frayed edges, loose, drawstring trousers and furry patchwork served as “it” elements for the collection. Keeping things dark, Ennio let his variety of avant garde patterns (which certainly need an up-close view for deciphering) and textures do a season’s worth of talking, and boy, they’re talking loud.

RUNWAY: Costume National Spring/Summer 2010 If I had to summarize Ennio Capasa’s Costume National Spring 2010 collection in 3 words, they would be skimpy, shimmery and ghastly. To say that runway radiated death would most assuredly be a negative comment in Capasa’s book, but according to me, the pale sheen against raw skin has a sexy, yet eerie, vibe. With a subtler version of the biker-chic trend, I’m loving the mini leathers as well as the thin, chain jewelry.
