RANDOM COOL: Nomenus Quarterly, The World’s Most Expensive Glossy
Edited by Kirby Marzec
These days, $2500 can get you a gorgeous Sonia Rykiel silk chiffon dress or one issue of Nomenus Quarterly, a fashion magazine unlike any other. Founded by publisher and editor Erik Madigan Heck, who doubles as the photographer for all original images, Nomenus Quarterly features a variety of artists, photographers and the fashions of world renowned designers.
Down from 50 copies to 10 each year, Nomenus Quarterly isn’t exactly the most accessible magazine on the rack, and currently running at the price-point of $6500, it looks like I won’t be thumbing through it anytime soon. For now, I guess the website will have to suffice.
