Tony Ward 'on the run'
Wrangler’s premium jeans sub-brand, Blue Bell, continue the innovative digital presentation of their collection with the launch of the new BB FW10 website. This time, renowned male model Tony Ward, wearing the dark, sophisticated denim of Blue Bell’s Fall/Winter collection, is chased in a dark, damp, industrial landscape. Viewers can throw him from a ladder, tear his clothes off, make him jump and roll – all thanks to clever interactive technology, which allows you control and dictate Tony’s movements and clothing. The collection is dark as night, inspired by rockabilly perfectionism, the 80s-influenced-by-the-50s, and thrift store Americana. Colors are black, grey and white, with dark indigo a signature of the brand.

The Givenchy shoWoW!
As my favorite Depeche Mode say ‘Words can only do harm’… Riccardo Tisci’s has out done himself; he created an exceptional intimate, small presentation for Fall 2010, shown in an 18th century salon above the Vendome in Paris. The inspiration for the collection is based on the artist Frida Kahlo and her three obsessions: religion, sensuality, and the painter’s lifelong battle with the human anatomy, hence the gorgeous laced skeleton-like gowns… absolutely divine.

Natural Selection Denim AW10
Continuing along their path of evolution, Natural Selection Denim, have extended, upgraded, increased and developed for Autumn/Winter 2010, with their first full collection of men’s apparel, alongside their pure denim range.
For this season, the team introduced a new 13Oz Fabric made of Zimbabwean cotton from Nihonmenpu mills in Okayama Japan. This fabric is available in its raw form and also as a new wash, PILGRIM; a highly authentic wash which replicates a five year, vintage jean. Also added to the range is the DRIFTER wash featuring high contrast ‘skeleton’ whiskering, which has a three-dimensional visual impact.
Natural Selection have skillfully developed a range of apparel to sit alongside their denim, and from this season introduce two selvedge chino fabric pants from the Kuroki Mill in Japan. This is offered in a classic chino style and colour with subtle military detailing with a selvedge continuous fly, a world first innovation on a long lost heritage patent.

Within the apparel collection are the RIVER JACKET and STELLIFY JACKET. These are two deconstructed tweed jackets with contrast corduroy. Also included is the TIDE SHIRT which is deep indigo cotton /linen denim shirt with a contrast corduroy collar.

Model: Alexander Johansson [PMA Models]
I really can’t wait for the fall. It’s by far the only season in which “sweating like a pig” is only sputtered in a ‘guns’ building class at David Barton. Also, it’s the only real season where leather crocodile jackets are firmly encouraged. Gucci’s fall collection shined on the runway, and Alexander Johansson makes it look spectacular in this new spread.

I can’t make up my mind about these Rochas shoes, something about them is quite interesting but they are borderline ugly. There are a few other versions (after the jump), and I think I really like the leopard print ones. What do you guys think?
