Beautiful and ornate are just 2 of the words that I would use to describe the latest collection from  Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. vBeside the usual well-tailored black tuxes Dolce & Gabbana sent down some out of this world creations. Some of our personal faves included fur trims, crazy embroidery and all knit everything.

While checking out the photos from the show we saw many looks and thought “Wait, is that pajamas as casual wear or just pajamas” or “Is that underwear or just really short shorts and knit trousers.” If you look really closely you can see that most of the accessories are as overly lavish as the garments themselves. As far as design I would definitely say it’s a step further than their Spring collection.

The  the full G-Star RAW A/W 2011 campaign will  officially mid September 2011. If you like what you see then  you can purchase the garments through G-Star Stores, marked with a special hang-tag for easy identification at the same time the campaign officially launches.

Trench coats, toggle coats, peacoats, sportcoats – wool coats are all I see! Interestingly, about one-fourth of the sea-inspired brand’s collection features white, a welcome surprise for Fall. My favorite item is the Sail White Cotton Jacket with signal flag patches (reminds me of my former life as a Formula-1 racer). Go buy a coat!

Trading last Fall’s leather and velvet in exchange for lightweight wool, this collection is unmistakably on par with Perry’s subtle and sophisticated cool. Let’s not forget the little things – suit pants tucked into wool socks, same-print sweaters and scarves, and a smattering of fingerless gloves. As usual, Perry’s strongest looks offered his staple office-to-nightlife ready aesthetic. The shawl collar sweaters and 5-pocket jackets are a must! See full video of the show below.

Oak has been one of my top three shopping destinations since I moved to the wonderful city of New York, so when I saw the outwear featured in their Fall/Winter collection I wasn’t suprised that I liked it. I usually don’t like Jill Sander, but with Raf Simons being the new creative director, I think I really like the direction the collection is taking. Here are a few images of the coats for Fall from Jill Sander, and they are gorgeous. The tailoring is impeccable, and the style is very modern and trendy.
