Releasing the Spring ’09 collection, Felipe Oliveira Baptista has let loose a line filled with numerous prints and patterns. The pattern mixing that occurs on a number of the pieces is quite unique as in the piece above; however, there are several pieces where you simply get lost in the pattern and it gets to be a tad too much. The designer’s new collection uses a number of different colors in a variety of the pieces.

The collection was full of blocks of bright colors, geometric shapes and lines paired with solid black or white. As a fun detail, each model wore a superhero type mask in matching colors, many of them wore tee-shirts printed with masks resembling those of Mexican wrestlers, and one girl even sported a cape. The pieces included skirts and dresses cut above the knee, skinny jeans, long vests, waist length jackets and striped platform heels.
