At every Femme Fatale concert, Britney Spears gives a signature lap dance to a lucky fan. In this case, her fan was a psycho and bit her in the leg. More after the jump.

It was the meeting of pop royalty when Lady Gaga took in Britney Spears‘ Femme Fatale show in New Jersey’s Hotlantic City this weekend. The crowd went bananas when Spears opened the show announcing, “I have a very special guest tonight…Lady Gaga is here!” Gaga stood, waved, and threw out a heart symbol. Britney promptly hearted her back, birthing the next “high five” amongst tween girls and gays across the country. Mother Monster was later spotted double fisting drinks and hitting up the blackjack tables at the Borgata Resort, letting fans know that she too has the vice-succumbing potential of her popstar counterpart.

I know she’s been making her comeback for a couple years now, but I think Britney Spears has really turned the corner this time. Although she’s been doing much better these days, I can safely say she look amazing on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar. As she prepares for her upcoming Femme Fatale tour, the pop star talks to about expectations for the road, being a mother and what life is really like with Britney. Click for photos and interview highlights.

It isn’t apparent that Ke$ha wrote Britney’s second single off seventh studio album Femme Fatale, which is a very good thing.

After watching Britney Spears’ video for Hold It Against Me I was hesitant about her comeback. Every single doubt I had about the pop princess disappeared as soon as I laid eyes on here cover and photo spread for V Magazine.

This poster is from a painting I did of Nico from the Velvet Underground. The painting was based on a photo by Billy Name who worked with Warhol in the Factory. For anyone who does not know, Warhol managed the Velvet Underground, got them their record deal, and designed their first record cover with the banana (which could originally be peeled). Warhol also suggested that Nico, a german fashion model and singer, be in the group. I love her vocals on songs like “Femme Fatale” and “I’ll be Your Mirror”, but apparently Lou Reed did not like her much and kicked her out of the group. She kept recording and made solo records until the early 80’s. Iggy Pop had some vague sexual encounters with Nico in the late 60’s, and John Cale from the Velvet Underground produced the first (Iggy and the)Stooges album. Considering I got into Warhol, VU, and The Stooges separately, it is fascinating how connected they are. Billy Name gets some of the money on this Nico poster.
