Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair’s Fall 2010 ad-campaign really doesn’t do the label justice, but with a collection as good as this one, I doubt they’ll have any problems with sales!

Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair has released their Fall/Winter ’09 collection with a sense of grace and style. The majority of creations that run throughout the collection hold an array of diverse shapes whilst sharing a black color palette. Though, as with the piece above, the designers threw in a couple of red and plaid pieces with more elaborate and versatile creations.

Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair was quite the pleasure at Stockholm Fashion Week, as they prepared a well crafted and styled Fall collection. The collection reminded me of a fabric shop, with all the rough edged neckware, and the use of all those different patterns. The collection had a great color palate, and the accents were minimal yet really impacted the pieces.
PS totally didn’t notice until I looked really hard, but look at all the facial piercings the guy above has!

I popped into New York for a quick minute over the weekend so that I could attend my second season of (Capsule), which has quickly trumped New York Fashion Week as my favorite event of the year. With some amazing designers like Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair, Denim & Thread, Buckler, Chronicles of Never and April 77, (Capsule) provides buyers and writers the amazing opportunity to see what the hippest designers have planned for the upcoming season. This season featured some of my favorite designers in the industry, and I will be featuring them all week as the pictures roll in from their press offices.

I was lucky enough to meet and talk to some amazing people and designers from labels like Wrath Arcane, Velour, Naked & Famous, Lova and S2VS. Another season another great success. I can’t wait to see these collections on the shelves in 2009/2010.
