Vandevorst Spring/Summer 2010 Taking the shame out of those typically awkward morning afters, An Vandevorst and Filip Arickx played around with the sexy sheerness of underwear. By turning light and flowing slips into see-through pants, billowing blouses and oversized, masculine blazers, the A.F. Vandervorst Spring 2010 collection is certainly disheveled chic. I love the styling in general, but nothing beats the sheer pants tucked into sheer thigh-high tights! This I have to try!

Vandevorst Fall 2009From New York to London and Milan to Paris, the A.F Vandevorst Fall 2009 collection is taking the comforts (and style) of home around the world with it’s traveling nomad theme. With voluminous skirts and dresses, oversized fur pelts, wrinkled knits and baggy, high-collared blouses at the heart of the collection, Filip Arickx and An Vandevorst’s collection is a cultural array of the vagabond lifestyle. Favorite pieces include the asymmetrical, side-zip bag dress and the silk, drop-crotch jumpsuit. While certain pieces stand out amongst the rest, A.F. Vandevorst’s horse-hoof heels ought to go back in the box. I love the nomad look but horse-hooves? Now that’s a bit too literal (and tacky) for my taste.
