These ads deserve a mention just so I can link Lindsay’s Fornarina video - aka the worse choice for her career and the best choice for theirs (seriously, would Fornarina be on your radar without Lohan?).  Fornarina has kept Linds on board despite her intense aging and new found career as a tanning mist specialists. Apparently two things they don’t approve of: there is a huge increase from the amount of photoshop used last season and it’s been awhile seen we’ve seen Lohan looking so pale. What gives?

Good God she looks like Little-Bo-Peep at the disco. Lindsay Lohan signed on with the Italian lifestyle brand Fornarina to star in its spring ad campaign, and the results couldn’t be more frightening. The clothing is super boring and Lohan doesn’t do anything to spruce it up. I’m disappointed; I was expecting dinner on Venice’s Grand Canal, not Marcia serving pies at a truck stop in Kansas.

Lindsay is rumored to soon launch her own line of leggins for Italian brand Fornarina, who will open their flagship store this year in New York City. Not only is she the designer, she is also the face of their expanding international campaign.

I think this is a great representation of how destructive she really is!

A label spokesperson tells WWD they selected Lindsay because she “is that very self-confident, dynamic woman, she’s got a lot of attitude.” And, he adds, “That’s what we’re hoping our customer will aspire to.” And while for now Lindsay’s sticking to modeling for the company’s upcoming ad campaign, she reveals to WWD that although she’d love to design for the label in the future, “Right now, it’s just leggings for me.”

Is this who we want to see as a model?

Personally, I don’t understand what there is to aspire to in Lohan. She is a drunken has-bin actress whose mother is so desperate she is staring in her own reality show about the hardships of being a show mom. Seriously, Lindsay is not dynamic she is confused and not a great role model or spokesperson for any fashion label. I know I’m a hater but this is not the image I want to be portrayed to young girls!
