Gucci’s Flora Garden is Here, Just in Time for May Flowers
Edited by Amanda Gabriele
It all started in Milan, the year was 1966, when Princess of Monaco Grace Kelly walked into the city’s Gucci boutique. Roldolfo Gucci insisted Princess Grace choose a gift to complement the bamboo bag she purchased, and as every classy lady should, she requested a scarf. But no ordinary scarf was worthy of such a stunning royal, so Gucci commissioned illustrator Vittorio Accornero to create the most beautiful print he could imagine. What resulted was the famous Flora pattern, revived in 2005 by creative director Frida Giannini. And now, you can smell like this iconic floral illustration with Gucci’s The Flora Garden Fragrance Collection.
