Major color-blocking for BCBG Fall 2012, a sway of a simple young hollywood pouring down the runway. Definitely a promising season with interesting silhouettes, it’s very all about the details.

Nicki Minaj perched in the front row at the Prabal Gurung show and showed up in this clothing cocktail. From her Shojono Tomo printed leggings to that big ass pink bow atop her head, fashion girls and gays alike were singing her praises for bringing her Harajuku Barbie days back. Now it is clear that you can get away with just about any outfit when Fashion Week rolls into town, but it definitely takes some guts to pull it off. Would you wear something like this to an NYFW event?

Unkle Karl must be more than mildly miffed – Blake Lively, his very latest lovely, has sent him her regrets. At 10:30 DST on March 8th, she is required to be on the set in NY to film the season finale of Gossip Girl, and will not be sitting front row at the Chanel Fall 2011 in Paris. One would think that being the spokesmodel, the very face of Chanel would be enough to get you a one-day get-out-of-work-free pass, but apparently that is not the case. It’s tough times indeed for a Van der Woodsen.

French Vogue’s new Editrix is the talk of the tents today. Emmanuelle Alt had a full exposé in The Daily Front Row and took over the cover, though without an actual interview in the mag, we can’t be sure it was entirely conciliatory. Here she is coming out of Prabal Gurung, boxy jacketed and denimed as ever, and… what’s that in her hand? Oh snap! A Daily Front Row. She’s got a bit of light reading ahead of her.

Every season we gaga over who sits front row at fashion week, and it’s usually a slew of celebrities. This year, the trend seems to be the opposite. From Diesel (which will be sitting bloggers front row) to Marc Jacobs, who recently stated: ‘I’m not into the celebrity thing . . . like we used to. That’s boring’.

Page Six is reporting that Lindsay Lohan continued to act like a diva at the G-Star show. After refusing to pose for photos, the attention craving star began throwing other celebrities seating cards on the floor. Juliette Lewis, Christian Siriano and Taylor Momsen were all in Lindsay’s path of front row stardom. Front row is pretty good for a girl who’s “largely unemployed”, unless you count being a diva a job.
