The Soho Urban Outfitters is having a year end sale.

Be sure to check out their collabs with indie designers like Samantha Pleet, Bing Bang, Grey Ant, Corpus, Geren Ford, and more.

Urban Outfitters has contracted indie-designer Geren Ford to design a range of  lower priced pieces to be featured online and in selected stores.

Apparently this is the first in many collaborations with indie-designers. Starting this month UO will be going the Target route and having designers create lower-priced lines of their own collections.

Geren Ford’s Hawks collection is filled with vintage inspired pieces-are there any other kind these days? It has the perfect 1994 sundress and 1975 high-waisted short for those long summer days.

Geren Ford’s Own Collection

Gen Art alumn Geren Ford is getting some major love from Urban Outfitters. The former Parsons grad and California native has been blazing a trail in the fashion leagues with her flirty, girlish collection of short dresses and rompers.  Be sure to watch for this designer as she escapes the pricey confines of Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York to play nice with the style-conscience youth.
