Giuliano Fujiwara shocked Milan when he introduced the concept of minimalism back in 1986, a time when Italy was a nation upheld by Versace and Valentino. Now a new innovator Masataka Masumura is revving up the brand with its new form minimalism. The Fall 2012 collection is based on the Japanese Wabi Sabi philosophy of transience; that beauty is found in imperfection, impermanence, and incompletion. Menswear designer Giuliano Fujiwara has got quite the novelty accessories collection for Fall 2010. From silver lapel necklaces to shirt-cuff bracelets, Fujiwara’s accessories are undoubtedly statement pieces. Similarly, Fujiwara’s sunglasses are etched in gold and silver, giving the lenses a suspended in mid-air type look.

Giuliano Fujiwara knows a thing or two about combining chunky knits with heavy leather, a skill he demonstrated beautifully in his Fall 2010 menswear collection. Crimson reds and forest greens spiced up a collection of predominately black and grey layered garb. A paneled floor length skirt was surely the show-stopping piece, but with Fujiwara’s immaculate styling, it’s pretty difficult to pick a favorite look.

Here is the entire runway collection from Giuliano Fujiwara for Spring 2009. The collection is awesome, and if I had to sum up the whole collection in one hyphonated and one regular word, I would have to go with “drop-crotch pants). It seems that 90% of the bottoms produced for this like have a baggier waist and thigh that becomes a tighter slim fit at the bottom/calf area. Cool collection. Big fan. Officially proves that men are pansies. Hopefully, the beefcakes from Westwood come over and beat the girly crap out of these men. Feathers in the hair is the ultimate no no for a guy’s guy, and the long crotch are just a form of trickery (if you know what I mean). Also, I know Andre Leon Talley is trying oh so hard to bring back the turban, but the upside down garbage can is not the way to go about that trend.
