Clément Chabernaud Swabs the Decks for Vogue Hommes International

Edited by

I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for seamen. During Fleet Week, I’m basically a kid in a highly inappropriate candy store. Bold Prints, Bright Colors & 70s Flair for the DVF Spring 2011 Lookbook

Edited by

The Diane von Furstenberg spring 2011 lookbook and ad campaign are finally here, and they look exceptional. Models Ming Xi and Kendra Spears each add a different flair to the photos – Xi the sultry and Spears the flirty. Squiggles and geometric prints on the famous wrap dresses complement eye-catching, solid separates like plunging necklines and hot pants throughout each page, never fighting for the spotlight. This lookbook seems to jump right off the paper, er screen, into your brain like any good DVF 70s-inspired campaign should.

Photographed by Glen Luchford, the shots give a good dose of sex and totally remind us of the work of currently imprisoned subway artists, Poster Boy. Wonder if this is just a tribute to his work?
