While the legendary Mrs. Taylor-Hilton-Wilding-Todd-Fisher Burton-Burton-Warner-Fortensky may have had enough jewels to shower the East Coast in White Diamonds, who wouldn’t want some treasured Golden Girls memorabilia? Rue McClanahan sadly passed away last June, but before her death she made sure that she left her fans a bit of herself. Now her son, Mark Bish, is fulfilling his mother’s wishes in a series of auctions of the star’s possessions across the country starting December 17.

Rue McClanahan (February 21, 1934 – June 3, 2010)
Who doesn’t love the Golden Girls? Each of the four lovely ladies are etched in the pop culture vernacular. Learning of Rue McClanahan’s death is just another reminder that we are all out of here…sooner or later. So…here’s to much, much later. Rue…you did good on Earth by bringing joy to many for years. I am sure Betty White will chime in on how great you were too.
