This little tween queen has been strutting her stuff and getting noticed. Young Taylor (also know as Jenny Humphrey on her show Gossip Girls) is a glamor queen and has quickly transformed herself from teenage starlet to a hot goth vixen. Even NY Mag took notice and documented her transformation. Check it out.

Some have seen these, some have not, for those of you who haven’t, these are very HOT! Wow, that rhymed…

Okay, so the exclamation marks are probably unneeded cause I actually hate Gossip Girls, but when we saw signs saying that TV’s bitchiest group of young stars would be chilling in our nabe, we couldn’t pass up the chance to check it out.

Thank god we did cause we had the chance to see the Hollywood magic that makes this pleasant alternative to The Hills such a success. Also, we have a total spoiler alert!!! Like seriously, don’t read ahead unless you really want to have your entire life ruined for knowing what will happen in the show. Honestly, this may change your life forever…

Backstage we spotted star Taylor Momsen (Jenny Humprey) who was busily playing with her Ipod Mini (get with the times and grab a touch). The scene was set for what would be Jenny’s entrance in the mixed boys and girl school courtyard. As Jenny walks in all the students begin gossiping about her. They call her a fat cow and begin passing out photos grabbed from her Facebook in which she looks like she’s totally drunk, even though like she wasn’t, she was just like totally not ready for the picture and it made her look like a troll, but she didn’t want anyone to see so like she didn’t post it, but someone like hacked into her account and posted it as her main profile page and then it had like a hundred comments in about an hour and everyone was laughing at her, and like the whole thing like totally sucked, cause she was like so totally embarrassed, so like her face started turning really red, and everyone was laughing and pointing and saying Humprey Go-fart, which is like the worse thing anyone could say, cause like she doesn’t even realize who Humprey Bogart is, so like the joke makes no sense, and she starts like balling tears and her hair falls off and her head explodes into a million pieces, and then the rest of the cast comes to her aid, and then get hit by a mack truck.

The blood splatter totally like yeah totally hit these little girls who were watching.

Totally, watching this show next season to see what happens next.

Sorry Indies, Gossip kills.

Leighton Meester has always been a good looking girl, but with her hit TV show Gossip Girls doing great she was finally able to get herself a great stylist. The thing I like most about her is how her stlye is refelcted in both Gossip Girl and her everyday life. Whether she is playing Blair or being herself she always looks elegant and composed. Good job on the stylist and I personally can’t wait until season 2 starts.

The CW sucks balls and now the network is starting to feel the major pinch from money grubbing suits who want it to make massive moola in their 18 – 35 demographic.  So basically, as early as next week (I can pray can’t I) the CW will be no more and Gossip Girls will not be picked up for renewal cause only a handful of folks are actually watching it. Yay!!!

I really feel the CW must have the most idiotic group of marketers ever. They have buzzed about shows like America’s Next Top Model, Smallville and Gossip Girls, yet they failed to make that become ad dollars from advertisers. Listen up CW it’s pretty easy. Everyone is online and only poor people and old folk still watch TV.  I want my content instantly and when I can’t download episodes from your site I’m heading to some illegal downloading spot which features the programs without commercials.  Taking Gossip Girls off of the internet to get people to watch the show on TV was stupid and most likely lost you a shit load of dedicated watchers who would rather skip the show then sit at home on a Monday night to tune in.

The station may have survived if they had a better web strategy, formed more communities around their programs, and reduced television commercials to focus on more in episode promotions and product placements.  I’m sure the networks run by some old dude in a suit who thinks Razor Scooters are still the shit.  

Hopefully, (due to the young fashions it supports) Gossip Girls will find a new home online. Streaming episodes and all.

Get with the program. TV is down right retro. Long live the internet.

Taylor Momsen talks about Gus Van Sant’s “Paranoid Park” and all I can think about how in the hell a Gossip Girl got selected for such an amazing movie. The film just got back from the Cannes Film Festival and it’s ability to play on the insecurities of it’s characters to create an amazing tale of crime and punishment in today’s slacker society is one of the reasons why it’s one of the betterish films of the year. Check it out if a)  you’re so addicted to Gossip Girls you can’t wait another week to see one of your favorite characters, b) you really need a depressing teen drama to bring you down, or c) you really, really love Gus Van Sant.
