You know those little kids you see on a daily basis that make you go ‘Aww I hope my kid is like that when I finally have a child.’ Well I literally say that every time I see Kingston. This picture of him in his dragon costume, pajama pants and crazy haircut has me hoping that my kid is that cool someday.

The side boob is taking over the fashion scene…spotted earlier was Gwen Stefani rocking the side boob, now Rihanna gives us her take on this current trend.

Gwen Stefani goes all natural (without her signature red lip and wild hairdo) and rocks the current trend of side boob (the exposed side boob/bra, something we’ve been seeing a lot lately).

Gwen Stefani definitely knows how to keep things hot. Her shoes are quickly becoming a favorite, as she is always “on point”.

Gwen Stefani created a super fun and wearable collection for L.A.M.B this Fashion Week. Each model had Gwen-like hair that played up the edge of this collection, with great zipper and stud detailing. Celebrity clothing lines are a dime a dozen nowadays, having become so unreasonably commonplace that it might be safe to say you’re not a real star unless you manage to churn out one (though you couldn’t even dress yourself without the help of a professional). I’ll be the first to say leave it the ones who know what they’re doing, but I will also say that there have been a few, very few that not only have managed to stay relevant as far as fashion is concerned, but exemplifies the true spirit of design: originality, creativity and quality–a rarity amongst the famous. Here are the exceptions:

1. Elizabeth and James by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen- because they don’t try so hard.

2. L.A.M.B by Gwen Stefani- the shoes are beyond dope.

3. J.Lo, Sweetface by Jennifer Lopez- even though Sweetface went belly up, she’s the one that started it all, and don’t act like you’ve never owned (or wanted to own) at least one pair of her jeans or one of those ghetto fabulous velour sweatsuits. Guilty.

4. Kate Moss for Topshop- a fashionista’s wet dream

5. House of Harlow by Nicole Richie- hate the girl, love the jewelry.

6. Benjamin Bixby by Andre 3000- gettin his grown man on.

7. Twenty8Twelve by Sienna Miller- Does she still qualify as a celebrity? Nonetheless spring/summer 09 is looking pretty good…

8. Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony- hipster chic at its finest.

9. The Victoria Beckham Collection- this shameless clotheshorse knows her shit.

10. William Rast by Justin Timberlake- I think we were all surprised that this didn’t turn out as bad as we had assumed.

Just in time for No Doubt’s comeback tour, Gwen Stefani covers the July 2009 issue of ELLE.

Her Louis Vuitton Fall 2009 outfit doesn’t go so well with the silver text. But I’m sure Gwen got styled wonderfully for her spread, in which she wears looks from Alexander McQueen, Rodarte, and Marc Jacobs.

This CSM ‘09 collection is very Harajuku-inspired, something I’m sure Gwen Stefani would go crazy over.  I can’t say this is stuff that I’d actually wear, but it’s definitely creative.

It’s hard to believe that L.A.M.B., Gwen Stefani’s line with her stylist, Andrea Lieberman, and designer Zaldy Gogo,  is in its fifth year already.

But it’s still going strong, dressing Gwen for tours and music videos, and outfitting fans with clothes and accessories.   And staying true to form, L.A.M.B’s Fall/Winter 2009/2010 is unabashedly Vivienne Westwood-inspired, and in line with Gwen’s off-stage image.

Full of leather, plaid, fitted jackets, and oversize collars, the collection has just enough of a rock n roll flavor to keep it from being costumey.

Apparently, the 80s were not just about underground parties, at least not for Gavin. He supposedly had a male gay lover, which In Touch is claiming to have looked a lot like Gwen.

Why do celebs feel the need to show off their nipples? Especially, when you’re trying to be someone else…like Gwen Stefani?

Gwennie wears Fall 2009’s most mainstream looks in this ELLE shoot. Seriously, your only indie is Rodarte!!! Shame Elle, shame. You didn’t make her wear the Louis bunny ears. It’s Easter guys and the baby Jesus is now officially going to chuck colored eggs at your asses. 

Not many of the Hollywood “It” girls can pull off this look, but Kate Moss, Madonna, Gwen Stefani, Angelina and Nicole Richie have all mastered the bad girl Winged Eyeliner. This is one makeup technique that just does not go out of style. Whether this look is messy or carefully executed it is always-GLAM ROCK.

The Winged Eyeliner look or cat eye which is what many girls call it, seems very hard to get right. So what’s the trick or should I say the tip to get this bad girl look?

You have to have a slant eyeliner brush, liquid liner shaped like a calligraphy pen or my favorite cream/gel eyeliner. The line should start as thin as possible on an angle and grow thicker toward the outer corner of your natural curve of your eye. I suggest taking the “wings” up to a few centimeters.

Another tip, but I can’t take credit for this one, is to trace a business card or an old credit card and angle your wings to match up. Makeup Artist Kathy Jeung likes to use this step when working with Gwen Stefani.

Just have a steady hand and practice, practice, practice. Try it out and let me know if it works for you.

Gwen Stefani gets done up in the latest fashions for an upcoming cover of Elle magazine, assuming the July Music Issue.

No Doubt will appear in their first live appearance after a five-year hiatus, will kick off The Today Show summer concert series on May 1.
