Whenever there is an event at Milk Studios count me in, surrounded by these walls of awesomness and all forms of art… its what living in New York City is all about. Last night Milk hosted the reception for Roxanne Lowit’s backstage photos of one of Dior’s clownish make up, definite glam even if clown was what they were going for.

I’m pretty sure I’ve found my Halloween costume inspiration, how fun would it be to paint your face in these amazing colors. ENVY anyone?

Nike Kicks that Kick Back

Nike has a 2009 Halloween line coming out, and apparently no one in Nike Town has seen Mean Girls enough to know that October 31 (and the two weekends before and after) is a time to slut up or shut up, and these shoes don’t show any kind of skin. Toe cleavage is out of the question, but orange hoarse hair isn’t? They’re called priorities Nike, get yours straight.

RANDOM Scientologist’s Get Dressed for Conversion

The Scientologist’s got uniforms and they are pretty awesome. No lie. I’m thinking about converting. Anyone down for a Stress Test?

The second Tom Cruise rocks one of these is the day I pick up Dianetics. The outfits were done by Richard Tyler, the Los Angeles-based designer to the stars and sometime Project Runway judge.

Either way, it’s a much better outfit than what the Scientology dudes used to wear…
