Anna Wintour has been credited/blamed/lauded/criticized for the current proliferation of celebrity-driven magazine covers of the past 15 years or so. Love it or hate it, a model has a better chance winning a Pulitzer than landing a U.S. Vogue cover — with a few notable exceptions. While stars are rightfully and contractually beautiful, however, not all of them can cut the couture mustard.
