Thom Brown has quickly become the fashion world’s sweetheart, a recognizable face within the industry so saturated with men’s suits. Apparently, investors just realized that his suits can cost about $5,000 each and they’re not holding their own on the rack. Which means canceled orders for Spring and Fall from small boutiques and larger department stores and the possibility of bankruptcy.

Much to everyone’s surprise since he has a multi-million dollar partnerships with Harry Winston, Moncler and Brooks Brothers.

I guess Lauren Weisberger isn’t the only one Chasing Harry Winston.

Armed robbers just jacked Harry Winston for $80 million dollars worth in jewels. It was a meticulously planned heist but could have been an inside job since robbers knew the names of some of the employees (personally I feel it was just a trick to confuse police since the robbers were most likely in the store and memorized the names previously).

This is the second time in two years that Harry Winston has been robbed. A similar robbery took place just over a year ago in which thieves made off with $25 million.

Expect a movie staring Jason Statham about the heist to hit theaters in 2009.

Sounds similar to the plot of Sex and the City! Plus there are Christian Louboutin shoes on the cover adorned with Harry Winston diamonds.  I’ve been seeing this book advertised everywhere, but don’t know anyone who’s read it. Has anyone read this? Comment and let me know if it’s worth reading.
