I am not a visor person to say the least. I don’t mind when others wear them, but like baseball caps, I think they look foolish on me. However, when I saw these leather versions from Fleet Ilya this morning, my mind changed for a few seconds. Would I be able to rock this particular style, available in four delightfully vintage-looking colors and held together with fab gold hardware?

Lady Gaga is moving on to her next creative endeavor: an intern for fashion’s favorite milliner, Phillip Treacy. For those of you who may not have the pleasure of knowing who Treacy is, he is the designer responsible for some of the world’s most iconic headwear (think Princess Beatrice‘s wildly popular fascinator, Carrie Bradshaw’s “something blue” feathered topper in the Sex & The City wedding, and many a piece for the late Alexander McQueen ). Hats off to Mother Monster (pun completely intended) for humbly starting at the bottom of the millinery, we can’t wait to see what type of tops she comes up with. Most of the world stood still as the prince and princess got married this morning. I was not one of those many people because I don’t get enough sleep as is. The wedding did however inspire this edition of Men Trends.

Wearing hats for everyday occasions is unfortunately a dying art for the modern woman. More casual times call for more casual, and many times sloppy, dressing habits. But not to fear! Those fuzzy hats that Her Majesty‘s stone-faced guards wear don’t come cheap. They come at the expense of bears. Thus, at the urging of PETA, it’s been proposed and seriously considered to commission Stella McCartney to make vegan replicas.
