MOMENTS OF STYLE Hayden Panettiere
I think I’m in love with Hayden’s dress. My trip to the L.A. Fashion Market gave me a little insight on the most prevalent trends for Fall 2009, and lace is huge! The awesome thing about lace is the fact that it’s been around forever – so there are a ton of quality vintage items out there. If you’re a do-it-yourself-er you can check out your local fabric/craft store and purchase either a roll or a few yards of pre-made lace and easily customize a piece already in your closet. Check out the Threadbanger video below on DIY graffiti lace – pretty sick!

Barely Legal and Looking Regal
Whatever happened to the infamous Peter Pan motto “I won’t grow up!”? Here I am, trying to savor what’s left of my rebellious teenage years while celebrity teens are dressing and acting like it’s their 25th birthday! Maybe it’s to counter their type-casting as the childhood best friend, but our teeny-bopping actresses and recording artists are looking way too mature for their age (and their own good!) From glamorous dresses and hair to dramatic makeup and manly boyfriends, our cele-babies look less like Disney channel stars and more like red carpet alumni!

The Blessed: Thou Shall Not Wear A Repulsive Frock To The Emmys
Maybe one of fashion’s most annoying events, The Emmy’s, aired from Los Angeles last night. Looking through all of the heinous dresses on the red carpet, I found dozens that provided me with superb fashion assassin material. But instead, I decided to focus on some of the blessed- those who graced the awards with style and elegance.

Before They Had Stylists: Round 2-Teen Queens
Before:
After:
Before:
After:
What can be said about these two that hasn’t already been said? Well in the case of Miley Cyrus it’s a bit ironic. After evolving from that troll into a well dressed human with nice clothes, all she wants to do is take them off. Miley if you want to be true teen style icon don’t get pregnant. Teen pregnancy is sooo last year try herpes it’s less committment and no one has started that trend yet. As far as Hayden Panettiere is concerned if Heroes tanks and her career continues to suck she can kiss her stylist goodbye and the only people who will be hearing about her are the ones that are currently involved in her save the whales campaign (none!). But regardless when a 27 year old C-lister leaves the bar with one of these two atleast he can use the excuse that they looked 20 before he had his way with them.
Glamour Women of the Year Awards

And the Glamour Women Of The Year Award goes to… Kate Beckinsale.
At the awards show, Kate (above at the awards), 34, won for best film actress. Beautiful, sweet, very deserving Kate!
Other notable winners include:
Editor’s Special Award – Lily Allen
Entrepreneur – Kate Moss
Newcomer – Hayden Panettiere
UK Solo Artist – Leona Lewis
Band – The Spice Girls
Okay, first of all, how is Kate Moss and entrepreneur? I give her credit for cleaning up her act (as much as she could) and making a huge comeback into modeling, but just because the model thinks she’s a designer (her collection for Topshop didn’t do too well) doesn’t mean she’s an entrepreneur.
Is Hayden the newcomer of the year because she showed her back in a photoshoot and maintains a daily column on Parez Hilton and The Superficial.
And The Spice Girls? Really, were there no other bands nominated? Uh, I give up…
