Harper’s Bazaar appreciates the beauty and grace present in women of all ages and knows amazing style is timeless. Last night, the fabulous publication hosted an event with Estée Lauder spokesmodel Elizabeth Hurley and Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey to toast the finalists and name the grand prize winner of their second “Fabulous at Every Age” contest. Lookbooks and FashionIndie editor-in-chief Samantha Lim and I ventured up to the event at the Hearst Tower to see all of these fantastic women in person.

Reported by WWD, Hearst Communications filed a complaint against Cosmo Senior Borrower LLC, claiming that the owner and developer of the Los Vegas hotel was inspired by Cosmo Mag.

“The Hearst suit alleges the defendants are seeking to trade off of the publisher’s “famous, long-established family of marks…and [the defendant] has stated its intention to use those marks in connection with goods and services that are the same as or related to the goods and services to which the public associates the marks with [Hearst Communications Inc.”

I guess the world ‘cosmopolitan’ has become very popular, from a signature cocktail, to magazine, and now a hotel/resort.

Weigh in indies, is this too muc ‘cosmo’ ?
