Heimstone Spring 2009 Collection

Heimstone, a French, primarily dress focused label, has quite the impressive collection for spring 2009. For the most part, I’m big on layers and intricate outfits, but in warm weather, who really wants to wear multiple pieces? Heimstone’s pieces, somewhat reminiscent of Leifsdottir dresses, truly speak for themselves, providing immaculate design with that perfect amount of summertime fabric. In comparison to previous collections, many of the Heimstone summer looks are more linear, encompassing straight cuts, color-blocked sections and some clever cut-out jackets. Je t’aime beacoup! 

Heimstone is available at Jumelle in Brooklyn (148 Bedford Avenue-between 8th and 9th streets).
