Helena Hörstedt A/W 2008
Swedish designer Helena Hörstedt’s A/W 2008 collection exhibits more of her skill for architectural fashion: the pieces show off her paper folding techniques and attention to silhouette.
Her fifth collection, “Broken Shadow” is a handful of handmade pieces that are at one elegant and radical, mature and fanciful. The intricacies are legible even among all the darkness and drapery.

The handcrafted pieces allow for a series of expression. It is by this form of creation that the designs embrace a structural work of art. ” I want my garment to be a fascinating visual experience as much as a usable.
