-  Models Agyness Deyn and David Gandy and designer Henry Holland ran the London Marathon on Sunday. Holland shut it down with a time of 3h 28m — maybe his running gear had something to do with it. Gandy came in with a time of 4h  35m and Aggy in 4h 45m, despite bad knees from a skiing accident and running in 5-inch heels, respectively. [Vogue UK]

- Jason Wu clearly needs to get into the prom dress business. After dressing Karlie Kloss in 2009, the designer outfitted junior super Lindsey Wixon for the prom over the weekend. That certainly beats the tacky one-shouldered hoochiewear teenagers wear nowadays that often lead to 18 years of “Nights to Remember.” [Stylecaster]

- The bride wore Givenchy. Natasha Poly married her fiancé in Saint Tropez with the aid of Riccardo Tisci‘s elegant tailoring, a natural choice for the Givenchy regular. Poly looked gorgeous and her new husband…clearly has a lot of money. What? Love may be blind, but I’m not. [Modelina]

- Sister Act on Broadway means two things: 1.) Me front-row screaming “His Eye Is on the Sparrow” and 2.) 7,000 Swarovski crystals running through 23 of the show’s costumes. Patina Miller will don the sparkling habit when she makes her Broadway debut as Deloris Van Cartier, the role originated by EGOT-er and professional grumpygoose, Whoops Goldberg. [Racked]

- Lady Gaga‘s newest single “Judas” leaked on the internet and The Catholic League is already up on the cross about it. The song will be officially released tomorrow, the 19th and the accompanying video will feature Gaga portraying Mary Magdalene. I just read the Henry Holland interview in The Scotsman and I’m thoroughly convinced that he will rule the world. In three short years he’s launched a successful fashion line, has partnered on collaborations with tons of top retailers, and has become friends with just about every it girl on the planet. I’ve always been addicted to his line and amazing tees, but upon reading this article, I really am addicted to his swagger. Only 26-years old and he’s mega successful. Love. It.

Here’s the interview in a nutshell.

He’s gone from printing T-shirts in his front room to selling his clothes in the world’s best boutiques and department stores, from telling his mother what to wear at the age of three to dressing celebrities and from grabbing a sneaky fag behind the bike shed with his best friend to attending the world’s most exclusive parties with her on his arm. It’s all down to an unashamedly British sense of humour that’s reflected in his clothes, which truly have put the fun back into fashion.

Henry Holland looks like I feel when ever a camera’s on me, a sweaty mess. But we can’t hate on this fabulous designer who manages to always stay in the picture, even if his designs fail to hit the red carpet. I’m an avid Holland twitter stalker. I just wish his updates provided more insight into his designs than updates on dinner dates, but alas, that’s the way the cookie twittles.

Show of hands. Who knew Victoria Beckham was a reporter for British Vogue? Apparently, the fashion icon spent some time interviewing a few of her favorite fashionites on New Years Resolutions. SPOILER ALERT: Pixie Geldof is a thumb biter so don’t shake her hands anytime soon…

Normally I don’t pick up stories pertaining to women’s clothes/accessories, but I’m a HUGE Henry Holland fan, and couldn’t let this one slip past me. His new “Mock Stalk” tights are brilliant! No only do they look hot, but they are really cheap and (I can only imagine) much more comfortable to wear. I think they are cool, but what do I know I’m just a boy right! A favorite to fashionistas everywhere, Henry Holland was a hit at London Fashion Week with Pixie Geldof, Little Boots, Alexa Chung, and Estelle in attendance, and now HH has announced that his new line, H! By Henry Holland will be sold at the department store Debenhams, selling for 5-60 Euros.  Never fear US fans, the collection will be online too! Look for it in stores and online in February 2010. I can’t wait!

Henry Holland didn’t bring anything terribly new or interesting to the copious table that is London fashion week. His House of Holland Spring 2010 collection consisted of lace, hanky-panky like bodysuits, some cute little house decal patterns, a few block-print tees and a whole lot of denim on denim. Mr. Holland, however, did not disappoint and brought back the built-in pasties made famous by a pregnant M.I.A during the 2009 Grammy Awards.

Henry Holland continues he rein of relevance by coming out with a mobile broadband dongle. I have no idea what that means, but it looks like a band aid and has “HOH” on it which I’m thinking is British for Ho, wait, that stands for “House of Holland”? Does anyone even know that? I get it if your Calvin Klein and throw your CK around, or Donna Karen New York and go by DKNY, but seriously Holland? Only five people and Agyness Deyn like you shit, and that’s only the t-shirts, are you really that self assured?

Also, a dongle should not be used to describe this device. Most would assume that a dongle is the British term for dildo before thinking it’s something for your computer. Now House of Holland Dildos, that’s something I can back…

One of my top five favorite designers Henry Holland produced another knock out collection for London’s Fashion Week this year. His label House Of Holland has a collection to fall in love with in late 2009. With a star studded runway that included the infamous Aggy Deyn, Jethro Cave and Ash Stymest, House Of Holland put on a somewhat more conservative show this year (for House Of Holland of course). Dulled down or not, the collection is still amazing and innovative. I love everything offered, and I think this a collection that will be seen in the streets way more than some of the previous. Two thumbs up from me!

We first told you about Henry Holland’s nekkid designer tees last month, and now a little more info is available.

Due to hit stores this year (projected price is £75 at London’s Dover Street Market), the tees with naughty cartoon likenesses of top designers will be released under the House of Holland label.

Henry Holland is trying for a new trademark T-shirt style: cartoons of Agyness Deyn, John Galliano, Donatella Versace, and Karl Lagerfeld.  The twist?  The designers are in the nude, with strategically placed flowers.

The tees are set to hit stores next year.

Woke up this morning realizing how tired I am of Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano and Anna Wintour.

They always seem to be playing over-acted versions of themselves. It was endearing at first, almost an expected outcome of the over-indulgent nature of fashion types, but I think that their time has come and is now quickly fleeting. Karl can’t eat a proper meal for fear of tipping the scales and reverting back to his fatty days and Winnie is quickly getting trumped by her children and Ann Slowley in the “ones to give a damn about” department. So here’s my short list of those I think might be the next favorite characters of fashion.

Christian Siriano – His royal fierceness, if only anyone will pay attention.  Runway is done, but wasn’t he the most interesting character the show has had since the days of that greasy Rasputin looking dude?  I just hope he doesn’t become a cliche as quickly as he’s become relevant.

Tyra Banks - She was Sasha before Beyonce was Sasha and she continues to play young Oprah to a tee. Hopefully the model won’t lose any steam as she continues to fuel a generation of big bootied fashionistas.  Plus, she’s donned a fat suit. What’s not to like?

Jeremy Scott - Former drugettes make for great fashion people. His celebrity connections help, but Jeremy is forming a strong posse of media friends and publicists which seem to keep this droopy eyed inmate in the spotlight. Hopefully a downward spiral is in his future, cause you know how we all enjoy a little tragedy with our couture.

Henry Holland - Starting to look like the male version of Agyness Deyn, but still a character to watch, his parties are getting as much attention as his collections and that’s what makes a mere fashion designer a future icon.

Merlin Bronques (or whatever he’s calling himself these days) – THE ONLY NIGHTLIFE PHOTOGRAPHER WORTH PAYING ATTENTION TO … lately. He’s ditched the wig and now seems to be playing a hipster Clark Kent. His photos are still better wanking fodder than most of the porn on the web and he’s finally going mainstream!!!  If you don’t know him, you better take note.

London Fashion Week has brought us many unique pieces so far, and apparently Agyness Deyn thinks she is too cool to wait like the rest of the world to get them. Henry Holland’s show brought us this quirky polkadot, sheer dress that looks less than perfect on Agyness Deyn. She took this dress from looking runway chic to 90 year old woman going to church in middle America. The socks? The ugly footwear? Which one makes this look hideous? There is nothing about what Agyness is doing here that makes her look fashionable. Thanks for ruining another great piece Aggy, you aren’t really helping the fashion world anymore. IF you could just disappear that would be great.

In the last several months, Patricia Field did Diet Coke, Haze and others did Mountain Dew, and Alexandre Herchcovitch even did Band-Aid.  One of the latest designer/product collaborations is between Henry Holland and Wrigley’s.  The British designer has given their Extra container a makeover. Guests at his London Fashion Week show today will get one free!  No word on future distribution yet.

Fast-forward fifteen years to a rainy Wednesday night in a naff club next to The London Palladium. Sixth form club kids are pouring into Movida to celebrate Henry Holland’s new night, complete with nineties soundtrack – Alison Limerick! FPI Project! The place is packed tighter than a Wag’s suitcase. The girls have peroxide hair, ruby red lips, body con dresses. The boys have curly quiffs, painted nails, kooky headwear. Hang on, is that a photography ‘studio’ set up in the corner? Why yes it is!

Some things it seems, never change. Each generation thinks it invented clubbing but at the end of the day what does it matter really? Last night these kids on a natural high (no gurning faces in sight) had it going on with their hi-energy dancing and agonised-over outfits. All they cared about was looking hot, showing off and letting the good times roll. Isn’t that the coolest thing?

Saynt – When it’s put that way, why yes, this party may have been the shit. But the photo studio in the back sounds a bit to Misshapes to me, which definitely brought in a higher caliber guestlist.

Jezebel.com just posted photos of Henry Holland’s newest party, House of Holland Movida. This must have just been a gathering of the biggest style victims in London, cause the fashion prowess was definitely lacking.  Let’s just say we wouldn’t be caught dead looking like any of these British hipsters.  Oh, and thanks for taking over the spot of the Misshapes buddy, some people over here we’re unsure who to cling onto since they packed up shop.

Henry Holland, the joker of the new young fashion movement, is launching a party in his good old Britian. Sounds like someone is trying to be a Misshape.

Starting Wednesday, March 26, Mr. Holland and his posse will take over Movida, a club on Argyll Street in London’s West End.

The DJs for the shindig, which happens once a month, include Henry, Agyness, Sam Ranger, and Matt Irwin, plus someone named “Fleur Holland”.

The parties will most likely rock, but can you guys please bring these things over here, the UK’s already got enough cool.
